ON1 Photo Raw 2019.5

ON1 Photo Raw 2019.5

ON1 Photo RAW 2019.5 – The Lightroom Alternative is Bigger & Better Than Ever

ON1, announces that ON1 Photo RAW 2019.5, a free update to ON1 Photo RAW 2019, is coming in mid-May. ON1 continues rolling out valuable features in ON1 Photo RAW at breakneck speed making it one of the bestalternative to the Adobe® Photography Plan subscription. ON1 Photo RAW is currently the only solution to utilize AI-powered algorithms to transfer and display Lightroom edited photos in Photo RAW. The transferred photos and settings remain non-destructive and re-editable inside ON1 Photo RAW, so photographers do not lose years of work from Lightroom. For photographers not interested in making a switch, ON1 Photo RAW 2019.5 is also a world-class plug-in for Lightroom and Photoshop making it a compelling tool for any photography workflow. The latest version, ON1 Photo RAW 2019.5, will include powerful new features to increase productivity, additional organizing benefits, a ton of feature and performance enhancements, and new camera support.

New Features in Version 2019.5

  • Dual Mode  Easily undock the Browse Module from the Edit Module, use a second display, or make sales or client presentations on a projector or TV. The dual mode will allow photographers to customize how they want to work when browsing and editing photos.
  • Edit History — A full edit history will be added when working on photos. Each editing step will be viewable, along with the ability to roll-back and compare adjustments. Photographers can also revert to the beginning of the editing session.
  • Settings Applied Info — Photographers will be able to quickly view which modules, tools, and filters are applied to a photo. This non-linear approach will also allow photographers to double-click on a setting and jump straight to it for further adjustments.
  • Selective Sync — Enhanced granularity in which settings to apply when syncing your settings (or pasting and saving a preset) will be added. For example, photographers will be able to drill down and only apply a white balance adjustment. The ability to sync cropping, retouching and brush strokes between photos will also be included.
  • Hierarchical Keywords — The master keyword list will now support nesting keywords inside of other keywords. Nested keywords will allow photographers to organize keywords as they see fit. Importing a list of nested keywords from other apps like Adobe Lightroom® will also be supported.
  • Apple® Photos® Extension Enhancements — Integration with Apple Photos now supports the full raw data, improving adjustments to tone and color. It also supports re-editable non-destructive editing and more native ON1 Photo RAW features like layers, crop, and text.
  • First Launch Experience — If it is your first time using ON1 Photo RAW, there will be new walkthroughs to help you learn the basics. This will give photographers a running start and directs them where to learn more.
  • Tool Tips — Tool tip animations will be added to improve the usability and shorten the learning curve for each tool.

ON1 has been working diligently on improving performance in many specific areas that include zooming, panning, brushing, and exporting to make the entire editing process more fluid and fun. VP Product, Dan Harlacher states “The latest update gives us a significant boost in quality, performance, and an abundance of new features and enhancements. The ON1 community drove a lot of this via their contributions to the Photo RAW Project.”

Additional Enhancements in Version 2019.5

  • Layers Enhancements — Create a new canvas of any size or change the size of the existing canvas.
  • Text Tool Enhancements — Add a background color to a text box and control its opacity. Easily control the character and line spacing. New options also will allow photographers to duplicate and change the order of text boxes and automatically insert text from a photo’s metadata.
  • Performance Improvements — Zooming, panning, and brushing are now much faster. A new preview quality option can help increase performance on lower-end and integrated video cards as well. Export is now up to 10x faster when resizing or exporting a photo or photos already edited.
  • Local Adjustments — The Local Adjustments tools will be faster to brush and adjust.
  • Windows High-DPI — Support for high-dpi displays on Windows will be dramatically improved. The scaling of the fonts and controls will work much better, especially on 4k displays and laptops.
  • Keywording — Keywords will be easier to search, add, delete, and modify. Also, keywords are now case sensitive.
  • Soft Proofing in Resize — The soft-proofing feature will also be available in ON1 Resize (Genuine Fractals®).
  • Drag and Drop from Film Strip — Drag and drop photos from the film strip to add them as new layers.
  • Increased Thumbnail Size Range — The range of thumbnail size will be increased, so photographers can go all the way up to two giant thumbnails or down to tiny thumbnails to survey an entire folder.
  • Default Photo Location — Now control the default photo location in Browse. This is where ON1 Photo RAW will look to find photos instead of the Pictures folder.
  • Preview the Resize Algorithm — When using the Genuine Fractals algorithm, photographers will be able to preview the resulting quality at 100% zoom to more accurately adjust the options and sharpening.
  • Persistent Crop Preset State — The crop tool settings will be persistent and remembered across photos.
  • Search by Adjustments Added — Search for photos based on specific adjustments applied such as cropped, retouched, etc.
  • Update to Lightroom Migration  The Lightroom Migration tool will now migrate the pick and reject flags.
  • Added for Support New Cameras and Lenses
  • Many other under-the-hood bug fixes and performance improvements.

AirMagic the new AI based Drone Photography software

AirMagic the new AI based Drone Photography software

Skylum announced AirMagic, the world’s first fully automated AI-powered enhancer for Mac & PC, created for drone and aerial photography.

While drones let us shoot incredible images from previously unreachable places, the photos themselves often lack quality, making for a lot of manual post-processing work to fix issues like haze, low or extreme contrast, lack of sharpness, undersaturation and chromatic aberration. This tedious editing process requires time, special knowledge and expensive software. With AirMagic, these problems are a thing of the past. AirMagic was created to automatically resolve issues inherent to aerial photography. It lets photographers process their images without major involvement — all you need to do is drop all your aerial photos into the app, and AirMagic takes care of the rest to make each photo look its best.

AirMagic works by first detecting the drone camera used to produce an image, and analyzing its lens and color profile. From there, it makes automatic lens corrections and other camera-specific optimizations. AirMagic uses smart algorithms and Artificial Intelligence to evaluate each photograph, applying modifications such as color reveal, haze removal, sky enhancement and other finely-tuned adjustments to make each photo look just as it was intended.

AirMagic supports batch processing, enabling photographers to improve multiple photos at a time. Depending on the size of photos and the power of your computer, it can process up to 4 GB of photos simultaneously. Based upon the same clear interface and simplicity of use that earned another Skylum product, Photolemur, the 2018 Red Dot Award, photographers now have access to a quick, one-click interface available in AirMagic. It allows photographers to put a unique spin on images with five different creative Styles to choose from. The software supports all popular image formats, including RAW files, and can also be used as a plugin for both Photoshop and Lightroom.

Besides consumer use by enthusiasts, another important mission for aerial photography is in the field of public safety and even agriculture, enabling emergency personnel using drones to “see” further into disaster areas or companies to better visualize their crops or equipment. By improving the quality of any aerial image, AirMagic can provide additional fidelity and resolution for critical images.

“We see our mission in creating easy-to-use yet powerful solutions for those who take photos. As experts in photo editing and AI technologies, we’ve created a unique, automated photo editing tool for aerial and drone photography. While drones are used by hobbyist and professional photographers alike, they’re also in growing usage in various fields ranging from safety and real estate to industrial and agricultural. I believe AirMagic will completely change the landscape for how aerial images are processed,” said  Alex Tsepko, CEO of Skylum.

DxO Photolab 2 is coming with lots of improvements.

DxO Photolab 2 is coming with lots of improvements.

DxO PhotoLab 2: comprehensive and uncompromising

After incorporating and enhancing U Point local adjustment technology, DxO PhotoLab 2, which follows on from DxO OpticsPro, has improved its exclusive DxO ClearView tool, added a new image management system (DxO PhotoLibrary), and now supports DCP color profiles.

DxO, one of the world’s most innovative consumer imaging companies, has announced the release of DxO PhotoLab 2, a major update of its RAW processing software for Mac and PC, recently awarded the 2018 TIPA Award for Best Imaging Software. DxO PhotoLab 2 introduces ClearView Plus, the latest version of the software’s incredibly effective haze removal and local contrast improvement tool, as well as DxO PhotoLibrary, a brand-new image and data management feature that lets users search, select, sort, and display images. DxO PhotoLab 2 also supports DCP color profiles, which maintains consistent color renderings across the industry’s main programs.

U Point technology: The most powerful local adjustment tools on the market

DxO PhotoLab offers a complete RAW and JPEG processing solution based on optical corrections from mathematically established laboratory models, as well as such exclusive features as PRIME noise reduction technology and DxO Smart Lighting intelligent exposure optimization. To provide photographers with all the tools they need to make local corrections, DxO purchased and integrated Nik Software’s U Point technology into DxO PhotoLab. This exclusive technology, which millions of photographers enjoy, allows users to make complex selections in just a few clicks and apply local adjustments with Control Points, a unique system of equalizers and multiple correction tools. DxO PhotoLab is the only software to fully integrate U Point technology within a non-destructive RAW workflow. With this latest version, DxO PhotoLab 2 has become an even more comprehensive image editing solution.

DxO ClearView Plus: Create show-stopping images

DxO PhotoLab’s exclusive DxO ClearView feature is a revolutionary tool that removes haze and enhances local contrast. The improved DxO ClearView Plus feature in DxO PhotoLab 2 lets users make even more dramatic adjustments without creating a halo around transitions between light and dark. The results are spectacular. In just one click, users can remove haze without creating an unnatural effect around objects, edges, details, or transitions. When combined with PRIME, an exclusive denoising tool, users can optimize the image’s dynamic range while still controlling noise. For an even greater degree of flexibility, DxO ClearView Plus can be applied to the entire image or just to specific areas using local adjustment tools.

DxO PhotoLibrary: A comprehensive image production workflow

DxO PhotoLibrary offers new image search, selection, sorting, and display features. A dynamic text field tool makes searching simple. As the search term is being entered, DxO PhotoLab 2 suggests all relevant interpretations and any results that match the user’s personal database. Users can search for images using a number of criteria, including shooting parameters (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), file name and extension, the date the photo was taken, and the number of stars assigned to the photo. The search results are displayed in a brand-new movable and adjustable vignette grid. “With its automatic features and correction tools, DxO PhotoLab strives to help photographers express their artistic vision without compromising on image quality,” says Jean-Marc Alexia, VP Marketing and Product Strategy at DxO Labs. “With the addition of DxO PhotoLibrary, DxO PhotoLab 2 has now advanced to the next level, giving users complete control over the image product processfrom organizing photos to exporting them. By the end of the year, this new tool will incorporate additional search features, including keywords and many other criteria.”

Support for DCP color profiles: New options for managing color in RAW images

DxO PhotoLab 2 now supports DCP color profiles; this means it can deliver color renderings that are compatible with and close to those of third-party photo editing programs like Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Camera RAW as well as camera color calibration solutions like X-Rite ColorChecker Passport Photo and DNG Profile Editor.

Users do not need a subscription to use DxO PhotoLab 2. They can install the program on two computers with the DxO PhotoLab 2 ESSENTIAL Edition or on three computers with the DxO PhotoLab 2 ELITE Edition. Photographers who purchased a license for DxO OpticsPro or DxO PhotoLab 1 can get a discounted upgrade license for DxO PhotoLab by signing into their customer accounts at www.dxo.com. A fully-functional, one-month trial version of DxO PhotoLab 2 is available on the DxO website: http://www.dxo.com/us/photography/download.

Skylum releases Luminar 2018 with AI Sky Enhancer filter.

Skylum releases Luminar 2018 with AI Sky Enhancer filter.

Skylum Software today released a free update to its award-winning Luminar photo editor and presented the AI Sky Enhancer filter. Developed in the company’s AI Lab, AI Sky Enhancer adds depth, definition, and detail to any sky almost instantly, with only a swipe of a slider.

AI Sky Enhancer is a revolutionary new tool for automatically enhancing skies and making them beautiful without the need for masks and layers. This will save photographers an enormous amount of time in post-processing while allowing photographers of any skill level to achieve dramatic skies.

Hundreds of thousands of photos incorporating varying degrees of tonal skies were used to train a deep neural network that powers the AI Sky Enhancer filter and allow Luminar to analyze each image and detect (and adjust) only the sky. The result is complete automated control of the sky. AI Sky Enhancer works with sunsets, blue skies, partly sunny skies, storm clouds, and virtually any other sky scene imaginable.

“And while this update is great by itself, it’s just the beginning. Luminar now includes an innovative core neural processing engine that enables all Luminar users to harness the power of AI. This will give the Skylum team the possibility to introduce more smart and automated tools more frequently,” explains Dima Sytnik, CTO and co-founder of Skylum. “Expect more innovative AI-powered features in Luminar in the near future.”

The new AI-powered filter comes ahead of Luminar 3 with Libraries, which will start being rolled out to Luminar owners on December 18. Skylum has made the unprecedented decision to include every new feature of Luminar — big and small — at no additional cost to current Luminar 2018 owners until late 2019. This will include Luminar 3 with Libraries, which will allow photographers to organize, browse, and edit images on the fly. Additionally, Luminar customers don’t have to pay an annual subscription fee. New and current users of Luminar will also receive a value-added promotional package including a three-month Pro Membership to ViewBug ($42 value), a two-month Pro Membership to KelbyOne ($40 value), a choice of any ebook from Rocky Nook ($40 value), the Awesome Landscapes Tutorial from Daniel Kordan ($80 value), and a $20 gift card toward the purchase of any Manfrotto/Gitzo product valued at $120 or more.

Luminar is available to new customers for just $59/€59/£53. Current users of other Skylum software including Aurora HDR, Photolemur, and Skylum legacy products can purchase Luminar for the special price of $49/€49/£44.

ON1 announces ON1 Photo Raw 2019

ON1 announces ON1 Photo Raw 2019

ON1 Photo RAW 2019, an all new photo editing experience and a major upgrade to ON1 Photo RAW, will be available this November.

ON1 Photo RAW 2019 will include an abundance of new features and technologies along with a streamlined workflow that is elegant, powerful, and easy to learn. Notable new features include a new nondestructive workflow for layers, autoalignment of layers, focus stacking, a new portrait module, a new AIpowered masking tool, a new text tool, new digital asset management updates and more. ON1 Photo RAW 2019 will include the tools photographers need in a single well thought out photography workflow application.

Dan Harlacher, VP for Products at ON1 states, “ON1 Photo RAW 2019 will give photographers the features they use the most from the Lightroom® and Photoshop® worlds in a single application. This is what we mean by an allnew photo editing experience. We want to keep the photographer’s workflow fast and efficient.”

ON1 Photo RAW 2019 will also include significant enhancements to the migration process for customers looking to switch from Lightroom®. Version 2019 will be one of the first solutions to utilize AIpowered algorithms to transfer and display Lightroom edited photos in ON1 Photo RAW 2019. The transferred settings will also remain nondestructive and be reeditable inside ON1 Photo RAW 2019.

“A big hurdle for customers looking to adopt a new workflow is the fear of losing years and years of work. We want to remove that hurdle by giving them the ability to keep their edited photos and more importantly keep them in a nondestructive workflow when making the switch to Photo RAW,” says Craig Keudell, President of ON1.

The ON1 community continues to drive the development of ON1 Photo RAW based on what’s most important for their photo editing needs.  Every new feature and improvement made in version 2019 is a direct result of community input through the ON1 Photo RAW Project.

  • A New Workflow for Layers – ON1 Layers will no longer be a separate module. Instead, the power of layers will be accessible within the nondestructive workflow inside of Develop and Effects. This will allow for creating or editing multilayered files, including raw files, and keep the nondestructive settings for each photo Customers will also be able to move, size, and mask each layer. More importantly, and a new concept, each layer has its nondestructive settings, all the way back to the original file. What’s most exciting is if you are working with raw files, powerful adjustments like exposure, highlights, shadows, and camera profiles can now be processed using the raw data in a layered photo workflow. All without having to change modules or applications.
  • New Lightroom Photo Settings Migration – New AIpowered algorithms will give customers the ability to transfer Lightroom edited photos, keep the nondestructive settings, and move them into ON1 Photo The updated Lightroom Migration Tool in

version 2019 will transfer almost every edit you can make in Lightroom including raw processing, crop, retouching, and local adjustments along with folders, photos, albums, and metadata.

  • New Focus Stacking – Automatically blend a series of photos at different focus distances to increase depthoffield. It’s so fast, you can adjust the focus in realtime, just like changing the focus on your lenses. Think of it like HDR, but for focus instead of exposure.
  • New AutoAlign Layers – Easily combine multiple photos as layers, then automatically align them based on image content, making it easy to mask and blend them
  • New AI Masking Tool (coming in December) – This new tool, powered by AI, will allow customers to easily identify areas of your photo to create a selection or mask and the AI technology detects your subject matter and automatically creates a beautiful
  • New Portrait Module – The new Portrait module will automatically detect faces in your photo allowing you to easily retouch, smooth skin, brighten and sharpen eyes, and whiten
  • New Text Tool – The new text tool will be perfect for creating posters, adding your byline or adding editing annotations. Easily control font size, color, position, and more and then save a preset to add the same text overlay to a batch of photos
  • New Master Keyword List – Now you can see every keyword you use in a single, searchable list. You can quickly apply, clear, edit, or delete
  • Improved Local Adjustments – Local adjustments will be updated to use the raw processing data. This allows for more highlight and shadow details with more tonal range.
  • New Layered HDR Workflow – With the powerful new nondestructive live layers you can combine other photos, text or alternate exposures with your HDR photos. Use the powerful masking tools to combine multiple HDR renditions
  • New Filter Options in Effects We have added dedicated film grain, curves, color adjustment filters to Effects. This lets you add film grain to color photos and make advanced, targeted color and tone adjustments faster. There’s even a new filter selector that allows you to search for filters, learn what they do and even view a sample before you add
  • New User Interface – The new user interface will have a fresh and modern feel. Overall contrast has been reduced to make photos stand out along with a new font to help increase readability. Updated, icons, tabs, and sliders will also take up less visual
  • New Cameras and Lenses – Added support for the latest cameras and

The first free update will arrive soon after the initial release (in December) and include a new AIpowered tool for creating masks.

Craig Keudell states, “You will see AIpowered technologies manifest into Photo RAW where it makes sense. We aren’t looking to use these technologies to take anything away from the creative process, but to enhance it and make it much more efficient.”

ON1 is also working on solving additional problems for customers who share files across multiple computers or work environments as well as those customers who are shooting video as part of their photography process.

“As we peek into the not so distant future, we have much bigger plans at ON1. We will continue to be a transparent company when it comes to what we are building, but we are not quite ready to unveil what we have in store for the photography community just yet. Rest assured, ON1 is researching and building exciting new features and products to benefit all levels of photographers for years to come,” says Craig.

Alien Skin Exposure 4 is now available.

Alien Skin Exposure 4 is now available.

Alien Skin Software Announces Exposure X4, Advanced RAW Photo Editor

Exposure X4 includes improved highlight/shadow recovery – fully adjustable light effects – perspective and keystone correction – monitored folders for tethered shooting – smart collections – speed boosts

Alien Skin Software announced the release of Exposure X4, the latest version of their award-winning RAW photo editor and organizer. Exposure is a non-destructive photo editor that enables photographers to create beautiful images and complete their full workflow. It is a subscription-free solution that is the choice of today’s most accomplished creative photographers.  Exposure continues to grow, with Exposure X4 giving photographers more creative control over their edits, and enabling them to achieve the very best quality possible from their RAW files,” said Alien Skin CEO Finley Lee. “It’s the fastest, most intuitive way for photographers to create beautiful images.”

This release of Exposure X4 introduces significant new enhancements. Improved shadow and highlight recovery enable photographers to extract the maximum amount of detail from their RAW images, and faster photo processing times speed up their editing. Photographers now have complete control of the placement and rotation of Exposure’s high-quality light effects. This makes it possible to precisely place natural-looking effects like sun rays and light leaks in an image, enabling gorgeous new creative looks. The new transform tools enable photographers to easily correct tilted or skewed perspective, such as key stoning of buildings in architectural photography. The addition of monitored folders for tethered shooting is great news for studio photographers, who can now edit, cull, and share images from Exposure during a shoot. Smart collections make use of Exposure’s robust metadata handling to automatically populate collections based on camera metadata and criteria that photographers specify. Keywords, ratings, folder location, and shutter speed are among the metadata that Exposure can query to build a smart collection. This helps to automate the process of image organization, enabling photographers to focus on creative choices. Exposure’s already considerable speed gets a boost with several ways: file exports are now up to 60% faster, image rendering is up to 30% faster, and launch times have been reduced by a third.

Exposure began in 2005 as a film simulation plug-in for Photoshop and was immediately embraced by digital photographers of all genres seeking to recapture the organic look of film. Over the years, Exposure became a legend among plug-ins and evolved into a standalone full-featured editing and organizing solution. Today, Exposure provides photographers with a complete selection of creative editing and retouching tools, including hundreds of customizable presets that encompass analog film and other styles. Outstanding RAW processing quality helps photographers achieve exceptional image quality in their edits. Exposure also includes advanced special effects that deliver striking looks like bokeh, vignette, and film grain.

Exposure’s full-featured organizing tools – collections, keywords, virtual copies, and more – make it the ideal photo management solution. Its catalog-free approach provides photographers with a faster, more intuitive approach to their organizing work. Exposure also streamlines the photography workflow. Photographers browse directly to their photos, skipping the unnecessary step of importing into a catalog. This enables them to start culling, organizing, and editing their shoots without delay. An intuitive, highly customizable interface puts everything on screen, without the need to switch between browsing and editing modules. Refinements like multi-monitor support and a complete set of keyboard shortcuts enable efficient workflows. Photographers can also use Exposure as a creative editing plug-in with other editors such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. No subscription is required. Today’s best photographers use Exposure to create beautiful images. Among them is the master photographer and educator Sue Bryce. “Exposure is every look I’ve ever wanted, all in one software product. It truly replicates every type of film you could possibly imagine, and helps me bring a painterly, Old Masters-feel to my images,” she said.

Additional enhancements include the following:

  • New print presets for standard paper sizes, making it easy to print photos directly from Exposure
  • A Lightroom migration tool that brings Lightroom organizational metadata such as keywords and ratings into Exposure, helping those who want to use existing photo libraries with Exposure
  • Ability to inspect RGB values at any position in a photo, for accurate color correction and color grading
  • Expanded workflow options for image copying and exporting
  • Support for additional cameras and lenses, including popular models from Fujifilm, Canon, Sigma, Sony, Nikon, and Olympus

 Pricing and Availability

Exposure X4 is available now from www.alienskin.com for $149. Upgrade pricing is available to owners of previous versions of Exposure for $99.

Exposure X4 is also available in the Exposure X4 Bundle. This integrated collection bundles Exposure with Alien Skin’s award-winning Blow-Up and Snap Art tools to add high-quality upsizing and natural media special effects. It is available for $199. Owners of one or more of the current apps in the Exposure X3 Bundle can purchase for $119. A 30-day fully-featured free trial of Exposure is available. Visit www.alienskin.com/exposure to learn more and download the trial.

Exposure X4 may be used as a standalone program or as a set of plug-ins. When used as a set of plug-ins, it requires one of the following host applications:

  • Adobe Photoshop CS6 or Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 or newer
  • Adobe Lightroom 6 or Adobe Lightroom CC 2015 or newer

SKYLUM LAUNCHES AN EXCITING NEW UPDATE TO THE WORLD’S FIRST FULLY AI-DRIVEN PHOTO ENHANCEMENT TOOL

With Photolemur, Skylum has taken the concept of photo enhancement back down to earth, bringing the complex process of photo editing to the hands of mass consumers all over the world. The software has been developed with regular folks in mind – camera users who might not have the time for or a good grasp of editing, from amateur and beginner photographers to moms, bloggers, and occasional shooters.

Designed as an intelligent automated photo assistant that enhances images in the same way a professional photographer would, but much quicker than any standard editing software, Photolemur only requires its users to drag and drop an image. It takes care of the rest by automatically making pro-level enhancements and adjustments to the image within minutes. Photolemur uses 14 different technologies to think for itself, analyzing what aspects of a photo need to be tweaked to bring the image to its best. It saves its users from going through the long editing process or relying on unintelligent filters that aren’t exactly tailor-made for that particular image. The software is proving to be a gamechanger in the photography space, allowing everyone from basic social media users and amateur bloggers to the more seasoned pros to create the perfect photo. Photolemur is transforming the photography industry, benefitting both casual photographers and professionals, reducing an hour of complex photo editing to mere minutes.

At the heart of Photolemur is a smart engine with powerful technology that has analyzed millions of photos to find editing patterns. It enhances each photo accordingly based on those patterns. It utilizes similar technology used in manual editing software, from color recovery and noise reduction to auto color temperature and exposure compensation. Both pro photographers and casual shooters can trust its AI technology to recognize the differences in objects and make smart decisions when choosing the correct adjustments. The software also allows users to batch enhance up to 200 photos at a time, making it a real time saver for users who don’t have a lot of hours to invest in photo editing. With this new update, Photolemur now fixes skin imperfections, whitens teeth, smoothes skin and hair, and sharpens and widens eyes, making it an ideal tool for casual photographers and social media enthusiasts. By simplifying the editing process, seamlessly creating pro-level adjustments to any photo without any effort from its users, Photolemur is sweeping not only the photography community but also the mass market. Photolemur is ahead of the trends in the photography industry, using its intuitive AI technology to make photo editing more accessible and to bring photography back to where it matters most, the millions of camera shooters who use it to capture memories and record important moments in their lives.

HASSELBLAD ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF MASTERS AWARDS 2018

Hasselblad Masters is widely acclaimed as one of the world’s most prestigious professional photography competitions. The winners are chosen through a combination of a public vote and a professional Masters Jury comprised of internationally renowned photographers and imaging experts. Every Hasselblad Masters award winner will obtain the title of ‘Hasselblad Master’. In addition, they will receive a brand new Hasselblad medium format camera and be invited to shoot for a collaborative project with Hasselblad. This project will be printed and released in the biannual Hasselblad Masters book.

Winners will receive their awards, medium format cameras, and trophies at a special Photokina 2018 ceremony in Cologne, Germany this September. Bronius Rudnickas,  Hasselblad  Marketing Manager says“Over  30 000 images were submitted to this year’s competition and that was a record. We are glad to see the competition is growing every year.”

Masters Jury member and professional photographer   Tom   Oldham said, “It really struck me how progressive many of the entries were this year and how far the entrants were willing to push the brief. These were the photographers who caught my eye the ballsy, outthere risk takers who make compelling pictures that refuse to be ignored. I’m proud to have helped to get this great kit into their hands – their  images deserve it.”
